I am City, and my team at the moment, entering the 2nd season is :

Bale

Yound DM from Boca

Bianchi/Defoe

General tactics:

1 marker into attacking
1 makrer into short passing
middle on creativity
1 marker into fast passing
medium closing down
medium defensive line

the formation is a 4-2-3-1 with johnson a passing holding player and the young boca guy as a proper holding player

The defence is given the standard sort of player decriptions for "full back" and "centre half"

The midfield is narrow, but geovani and petrol have arrows to break to the wing, whilst elano has a long arrow to support bianchi.

Geovani and petorv are told to get to the by-line and find the target man

whilst bianchi is set to a target man, holding up the ball, with elano given a free role supporting him.



Therefore how did i finsih 17th in the league last year?

and now got 5 games, 5 defeats , 0 goals for and 17 against in year two??



its like they are trying to stop it from being pick up and play/ more rewarding the more you play

and replace it with having to spend hours and hours trying to find a decen tactics (hours i havent got)

Read the FAQ thread at the top and do what everyone else does and learn about the game by trial and error.

Exactly! it never has been pick up and play and it always will be more rewarding as you learn about the game.

If you bought a computer game with 16 levels of difficulty would you expect to get to level 16 the first time you played it? If you want pick up and play, then FM is not for you.
