i find i need at least 2 defensive midfielders or without them i just concede by the dozen, so i pick any 2 of, mascherano, alonso, lucas or poulsen. without two of them in the team(3 if i'm playing a side with good attack)

Fabregas! Although I've got a lot of quality players to play instead of him, I still miss him a heck of lot when he's injured or something. He's very rarely the best player on the pitch according to the stats but he just about starts every good thing my side does. Also, right now in the 3rd season with Arsenal, I'm finding it nearly impossible to drop either Hleb or Rosicky the way they're playing. The 3 of the them in the middle with Gilberto at DMC work just beautifully well together.

Nakamura has a magic pass. Sivok is amazing defensive mid for me too, always in the top 5 for tackles per game in premiership.

theres a few. Benega of course but David Jones and Aimar are quite good. Fabregas is a god.

matias fernadez, this guy is not too exp to buy.. and he score double digit goals and tons of assist.. a very good bargain for the top club
