Protean Manager is on a distinguished road
Default Omar Espanza

My third year in, I've scouted a 21 year old Mexican playing with a Turkish side. His name is Omar Espanza. He's a natural DM, AM, WBL, ML, AML and an accomplished LB and CM as well. His stats aren't shabby, either. I need a good DM to cover for Andrea Luci, and I'm weighing up between Espanza and Banega (both around 7 million). I'm leaning towards Espanza, since I've an injury-prone squad and I need a good utility player. Anyone ever heard of Espanza? Cheers.

Yes, EspaRza not espanza was class for me on 07, but have not tested him on 08 yet.

Get Esparza though, his stats are impressive.

I'm assuming you're talking about Omar Esparza, who's with Chivas at the start of the game ?

The guy was part of the Mexican U17 World Champions side, along with dos Santos and Vela. He was with the U20 team this year as well. Develops nicely in game.

Patricio Araujo would be another flexible Mexican youngster, he's got very high influence and is a leader on the pitch. Certainly worth a look as well, depending on your needs.

Thanks for the replies. I'll definitely have to buy him. Yes, I wasn't sure of the name. And I'm trying to get a Mexican flavour to ny side (dos Santos, Villaluz, Vela etc.)
