I created a 'panels' folder as one did not exist and this does not work. Tried putting it in the skin folder and it does not work either.
Please help i have been wanting the game to sort my squad by 'picked' for years! If you can get this working i'll be so happy!

My text is all grey anyway to solve this I am thinking its to do with the fmcolours or colour.xml file, if so any chance you can upload yours for me bububu  ?

I put this in the main skin "panels" folder
It worked for me and looks great.
Put it in
C  Documents and Settings\.....\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\skins\steklo\panels
works a treat great work indeed |

so how do i make that work without having the same skin as you, is it possible?

You can do what you want with a skin, some minors changes.
This skin looks definitively wonderful with stadiums background, for sure.
