Sorry to sound like a complete idiot. But first time i've downloaded a skin cause I thougt this one was pretty funky. But I have no idea how to upload it.

1. I downloaded the file and unzipped it using WinRar.
2. Put the file 'Pitch' which contained two following folders 'infobar' and 'popup' into my skins folder.
3. Unticked use skin cache and ticked 'always reload skin on confirm'

But it still doesn't appear under skins; it still says Fm08 or FM08 (right).

Any idea where im going wrong?

The d/l on this thread is not a skin, its just a sky sports pop up which can be seen during the match. U need to d/l a skin, which loads can be found on these forums. I suggest using the stelko_left_black skin V1.2 (looks v.nice) stelko V1.2 skin Then follow SmurfDudes instructions at the top of this thread to get the skysports pop up working in your game and you should have no probs..Hope this helps

If you have a graphic editing program then go in to the infobar folder and open both time_middle_right.png & time_bottom_right.png and make the canvas a few pixels bigger on the left. Make sure they are transparent, then save and it should align ok.

hi guys thanks for the help.ive followed your instructions to the dot in the preferences but still wont load up.im using the default skin to.all my other down loads are working but this popup and the nets r chapping my ass.any thoughts would b great.

When using the default skin make sure the pitch folder is placed here: My Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2008/Graphics/

So the folder structure looks like this: http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/7152/folderslm2.jpg

Then reload the skin as mentioned above, and all should be fine.

I don't know what else to advise to be honest. If the graphics are in the right folder and you reload the skin, that should be all you need to do.
