Mercury Skin is the 2008 version of Mercury Skin created for FM 2007. It adds a silvery and smooth look to the game. It contains Full Screen Match Option, Huge Database Mode and Alternative Backgrounds&fonts.(need to wait for the release of .fmf tool) With this new smooth look of the game, I hope that you will enjoy FM more.
Good games...

For the installation:
Place BOTH .fmf files into
"My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\skins"
Then select this skin on Preferences Menu

"Mercury Skin" is left hand sided and "Mercury Skin | Right" is right hand sided.

Contact before redistribution.

Note: There are alternative fonts&backgrounds, but you won't be able to reach them until SI releases FMF Tool. Therefore, I decided not to be cruel against those who prefer grassy background.(same as 2007's)

Only thing, I cannot find the quick flicks, am I too blind to see or aren't they there?

I really like this skin. Couple of problems. The box sizes are too small on some pages meaning I have to sroll down to see info. And the main header font which is all curly is horrible, kinda of detracts from the game, makes me feel like I'm playing a cheap game rather than a sophisticated football management sim. Shame cause I'd use it otherwise.
