haha thats how it usually happens.its always the simple things that take so long to work out.
i couldnt get a skin to work and it was bugging me so i went back and read how to do it and realised i had to put the skin download in 2 folders and not just the 1.

I dunno if it is off-topic, but can anyone tell me what software program I might use to put white background on a picture in a facepack (in other words, making it look like facegen)? Thanks!

Ok i have extracted my face gen pack i downloaded. What do i do after i extracted them? please help, i was a huge CM fan in 2000 to 2003. And I just found out this is the same guys after buying a CM that sucked. So i want to start my season after i do this. So i extracted them not what do i do?
Im a newbies so please step by step instructions, i will fully appreciate it, thanks!

That link just confused me even more. Im a dumb ass and dont understand some of this. I etracted them and changed the folders name to graphics. Is there anyone that can simplify the next steps. Im so close.

CDocuments and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008
Create the Graphics folder in here.
Then inside this folder create other folders called logos players icons etc etc etc and now you can put the relevant Graphics in these folders.
After all this is done start the game and click on Preferences then Display and Sound and make sure you untick skin cache and tick reload skin on confirm
