Looks like he don't want to be second especially to Evra next season, and a player of his quality should be first team, firm favorites and Madrid and Liverpool also United are neither keen on selling to the Reds.

Yeah he is a good stong left back, who has great ability in the air I think is injury prone though but he shouldnt be second pick for United... Evra is no where near the standards of Heinze in my books.

Evra was well ahead of Heinze last season, he wants to leave because he knows he wont get as much games. Evra has improved with defending to add to his attacking quality. I dont want him to go but I think Real Madrid will be favourites to get him as they need a R.Carlos replacement and we will be reluctant to sell to Liverpool.
