i copied my backgrounds folder from fm 2007, and set Atletico Madrids background to the black background from Ackters metallic skin on the xml file. check my posts at the beginning of this topic to see the Atl Madrid stadium background picture.

At the moment I've copied the fmf file to the skins folder - so what do I do, make a default backgrounds folder in the skins folder and put my background there?

Captain ferret, what program do I use to open the file, as win rar quite obviously is not the right one.

i created a graphics/pictures/backgrounds folder. should work with all pictures collected for fm07, as long as they still have their own .xml files..

yup, that's what I did, with a config file mapping the default.jpg to default - but it still ended up defaulting to the grass background of Steklo

You don't. Put the fmf file into my documents\sports interactive\football manager 2008\graphics\skins

yeah, can't set to default until the skin in re-released in a folder.

did you put it in the program files or my documents file path? i put it in my documents, though i ain't sure it makes a difference... try it if it isn't already there.
