Default South American club guide.

My favourite leagues in FM are generally the South American ones. However, as the leagues aren't closely followed by the media here, alot of people don't have a general understanding of the competitions and clubs involved.

Due to the variety of competitions in S.America, they can often be ideal for managing in. There still however doesn't appear to much of a guide for those unsure of the clubs who compete.

I have started to create a guide for each top flight club competing in a playable league in South America including Mexico as well as larger clubs who are not currently competing in the top division. Each club has a brief paragraph about thier history, key rivals and any other noteable information.

I hope to finish this next week and am will upload it somewhere. In doing this guide, I hope people be have a better understanding of the clubs their managing/competing against when playing the South American leagues.

So far I have completed guides for Argentina, Mexico, Peru. As I've mentioned, I hope to complete guides for Brazil, Chile and Uruguay.

I'm not quite sure which thread this is best belonged to so apologies if it's misplaced, I know it's not a graphic thread but once complete it will hopefully be a downloadable file.

If anyones interested, has any suggestions or questions feel free to post them.

Thanks!

I was in South America last year and the passion for football is mindblowing.
The best atmosphere ive ever seen going to watch teams like Boca Juniors and River Plate in Argentina and Colo Colo in Chile.
Since then i love keeping up to date with football over there.

cool, I'd love to just travel there and watch a few games across the continent.

I'll be posting the link to download here once it's complete.

Also, on a 'graphical' note, any idea where we can find facepacks/club logos, etc. for many of those SA leagues and Mexico?

I've found Brazil and Argentina one on Suzie but am leaning towards managing in Mexico but it's gonna be dull if clubs don't have the logos and players don't have 'faces'.

I have no facepacks except for a few Brazilian clubs but I have logo's for nearly all the South American leagues.

Email in profile, and I will send them to you.

Is your MSN too?

I'm highly leaning towards starting in either Brazilian or Mexican league but also running all other SA leagues.

So for the first time, I'm deviating away from the European side of the game which is what I've always played and I have my reasons.

But I'm also a graphical freak and want as many face-packs, logos, competition logos and kits for all those clubs. And them being much less popular on these forums and other UK-based places, it's a lot harder to get them all.

Wish there was a South American super-pack or something so i dont have to go adding stuff club by club as I have to right now with face-packs for Brazilian top clubs even. Many of which aren't suitable pictures either... :/

How's your guide coming along?

I do have MSN but to be honest I don't use it all that often.

My guide is only missing guides for Brazil and Uruguay. I am beginning the Brazilian one shortly.

I'll send you the Mexican one if you want.

I can't find any South American facepacks really, apart from Boca and a few Brazilian ones :/

Anyway, when do you think this thing will be ready Colorado?

As mentioned I've only got Uruguay and Brazil to do so within a week at the most. Brazil should take a little longer than most of the others due to the number of clubs.

I'm not covering every single club in each playable league. Only the clubs from the top flight from each country plus other 'big' clubs who aren't currently in the top division.

These guides don't have tips like most money available or anything like that, just a brief paragraph about each club, what it's achieved, it's rivals and any other notable information. You might think their shi*e but I've learnt something from them!!
