Yup changed the font to verabd but was getting the same problem with the original text which is why i decided to try
a different one but same problem came up

I only ever play in windowed mode, so I wouldn't of seen that. Did you change the font at all? It looks bold in that pic, maybe that's what's doing it. If you can try an make the text normal it may make the scrollbars disappear. </BLOCKQUOTE>

Very nice work here. I did change the text properties to bold in order to show up better on a widescreen with background photos enabled.

Then I'm afraid I don't know what to suggest. As I say I only ever use windowed, but I tried fullscreen, and the scrollbars appear for me too. I could have a look at the profile code and perhaps make the attributes box slightly bigger vertically. But it will have to wait a while.

I can't make the actual logo's brighter, but I can adjust their transparency.

Due to the skins background being dark, that means the more transparent the logo is, the darker the logo will appear.

I can upload a xml file to make the logo half transparent, so it's very visible, but you can see a bit of the background. It's a happy medium.

No need to delete the steklo folder, you can have them both in the folder and just load this up in the game.

im an idiot i have sorted my problem

btw the attribute colours quite hard to read, some are too dark

Have you installed the beta patch? If so then try doing this.

Go in to the skin folder, then in to settings, and there are 2 files there, fm colours.xml & colours.xml.

Then go to c:/Sports interactive.football manager 2008/data/updates/update-801/data/ . Create a folder there called settings and put those two colour files in there. Reload the skin and see if it works.
