Has anyone had any success with an old FM2007 tactic?

Playing as West Ham I tried a couple of new tactics from the tactics forum (B1GD and FIORA2) and wasn't getting any luck at all so I went back to my trusty 4-3-3 from 07. Away at Sunderland and 4-0 down after 16 minutes with Michael Chopra scoring 4??? My defenders just stood there (I thought the closing down bug had been sorted in the patch? I am using it!!)

Took off Gabbidon and got Ferdinand to man mark Chopra. Worked to an extent and I got two goals back. Then second half I have two Bellamy goals dissalowed for offside and neither were. Then Bellamy clean through, taken out by last man and despite getting a free kick "the Referee keeps his cards in his pocket"????

Now I know Referees make mistakes in real life but this game seems hard enough with things like that happening. So a potential 5-4 comeback ends up a 4-2 defeat!!

I'm seriously thinking of reloading 2007!!

With the risk of being attacked here I do think that there is something in 2008 that makes using tactic imported from 2007 imposible to use.

I imported my 4-4-1-1 tactic and got cr@p results. Got pised and deleted the game completelly from the folder, created the same exact tactic in 2008 and I was killing every opposition.

This can ofcourse be just my imagination but.....
