Hey guys,

I've got a problem with my defence, not sure if its just the mechanics of the game or its my instructions, but my defenders can't seem to win a header to save their lives.

I have Jamie Carragher and Daniel Agger, both are fairly tall and have good jumping (17 and 15 respectively) and heading (18 and 17 respectively) attributes but yet they very often fail to win more than 50% of their headers in a game? I often see small scrawny strikers win headers against my big behemoth centre backs and its a bit annoying!

Anyone else have this problem and/or know how to fix it?

The only thing i can think of is their positioning. They might have too attacking mentality so they don't position themselves right compared to the striker.

Another thing is they might be outpaced by a wing attack and aren't in time to prevent the striker to head the ball into the net.

Also i might have to do with the positioning of your MC's. If there's to much room between your defense and midfield it might be the room for a opponent to head the ball your CD wasn't able to reach.

Besides that, i can't think of anything. Besides the logical explantion the opponent have even better heading/jumping/length stats, but that's something for you to sort out

maybe they are getting amazing crosses all the time (mark wingers), or your defenders are not close to strikers (set tight marking).
