Before the SI split was the last time I thuroughly played the game, in the older versions, you used to be able to go in and set instructions against each each position, and then just assign a man to that position.
For example, a right winger, I would set him to make runs, mixed pass and frequently cross etc. I knew the players strengths and who would be playing in said position.
Anyway, you don't seem to be able to do this in FM08? Or am I missing something? And if the answer is yes, do you need to do it for every game or can it be set as a standard? Thanks for your help.
