Ok, went back to basics, and set the whole Roman midfield to "closign down- whole pitch" with my midfielders.
That resultet more chances to me(playing more attackin football), and less chances for Rome.
3 games, and Scores were 1-3, 3-4 and 0-5.
What was still a problem, my defenders are truly unable to cope with crosses, and Corners.
In 3-4 result Rome scored 1 from long shot, 2 from corners and 1 close range. I did 1 "normal"+ 2 from corners.
It seems, as i've noticed before against more even opponents, that scoring (and conceding)from corners and long range shots(and long range free kicks of course) is far too easy.

I think you misunderstood me slightly. I was a big vague i guess.
I didn't mean set your whole midfield to closing down in that way. What i meant was choosing the players to mark in the individual playing instructions. Ok let me go step by step.
One
Look at opposition team. Locate the CMs with the best passing and creativity stats. Then find your own MC with the best tackling and marking ratings (preferably one who can also play as a DM), go under his personal marking instructions and tell him to mark that opposition player tightly (tick the "tight marking box").
As the game plays out you might find that the other CM is having the game of his life and making alot of passes. If this is the case give your other CM the same instructions on him - mark him tightly
(Usually i don't do this with both CM's from the off because i want at least one of them to try and create whilst the other is busy with the marking, but sometimes it's unavoidable i guess).
NOTE: BOTH MIDFIELDERS SHOULD HAVE A NORMAL MENTALITY. THE ONE WHO IS TO CARRY OUT THE INITIAL MARKING SHOULD BE A FEW TICKS LESS
TWO - Fullbacks
Do the same for both your fullbacks, telling them to mark the opposition winger. This time do not set it to tight marking however. Set their forward runs to "none" and their mentality to "Ultra Defensive".
The mentality of your whole defence should be the same.
It may also be helpful to show the wingers onto their weaker foot in oppositions instructions. though only if they are truly weak on that particular side. Theres no point otherwise. You could do the same to their CM (in fact, it is more important that you do)
Three - Team Instructions
The closing down settings of your team should be "mixed" or a few ticks above. Never get the whole team closing down too much as they will only be dragged out of position.
Time wasting should also be "mixed" at the least (though not too high) and it might be heplful to set tackling to hard also (just make sure you change it to normal if they get carded!)
Four - Opposition Instructions
Its best to use this once the game has had time to pan-out (i.e. 25th min or so). If they have a striker making alot of passes and just causing havoc in general, tell your team to close him down always. NOTE: IT IS NOT A GOOD IDEA TO HAVE THESE OVERALL OPPOSITION INSTRUCTIONS ON MORE THAN TWO OR THREE PLAYERS.
Try this and see what happens, remember to keep an eye of the formations screen, and more importantly the STATS screen, as this will tell you what is going on in the game.
