re-ranking occurs when a team of lesser ability suddenly starts thrashing everybody e.g Cleons Sheffield United, the match odds and how teams will line up against Sheff Utd will change they will no longer go all out to destroy them but set up more conservatively leaving some peoples counter attacking philosophy dead in the water

It's significance tends to be exagerrated. It will happen gradually over time of course but there is no instant at which it kicks in absolutely to my knowledge.

If anyone could ever provide a saved game at which they believe its about to kick in I'd be intruiged. Even better would be 2 consecutive pkms that show before and after.
