Like most on here I am having an absolute nightmare winning games.
In 2007 I managed to create a fairly good 4-4-2 that whilst far from being a killer tactic it gave me some fairly successfull seasons with the Hammers.
Those tactics in 2008 though?? Hopeless!!
So I thought I would read up and implement some ideas given by posters on Closing down and Target Man stats etc and changed various other directions. In fairness I was merely tinkering I am not very good at tactic making.
However I managed to win 2-1 against Liverpool with my Home Tactic in my first game with some nice Football played on the way. My only gripe was with all the lovely Football and 7 corners I had I only scored 2.
In my next game I was away at Man Utd so used my Away Tactic. I marked Rooney tightly but he still got a hat-trick in a 3-0 win for them.
Next game I lost 1-0 to Spurs at Home after battering them for 90 mins. They scored a last minute goal. Pass back to my keeper who prompltly misskicked it straight to Berbatov!! Not for the first time this has happened.
Then a 3-2 win at Home to Reading but whilst creating I am giving far too many chances to the opposition.
Ashton plays well as does Ljungberg with these tactics. whilst Bellamy does not.
My line up is.
GK Green
RB Neill
LB McCartney
LCB Upson
RCB Ferdinand
RM Ljungberg
LM Etherington/Boa Morte
DM Parker/Mullins
CM Dyer/Noble
RF Bellamy/Kiki Fonseca
LF Ashton/Hartson
I would really appreciate it if an "expert" has any time to look at these and maybe give me some advice as to where I may be going wrong on directions or sliders etc to make them a bit tighter and better.
They are in FM.DOWNLOADS.NET about 3 quarters of the page down under the headings.
