Hey guys!!

I’m into my 5th season of fm, I did had 3 good successful years with Derby (in the final season we finished 7th and made the cup final) however I then accepted the Chelsea job, I decision I actually regret now but never mind!

Anyway first season we won the league, but were knocked out of the FA Cup early, the UEFA at the quarters and League cup semi. The problem I have with this time is whenever we play anybody good we never ever win such as Arsenal, Newcastle, United, Liverpool and Sevilla who kicked me out of Europe!! I’m not sure why this is when I was at Derby I generally did well against the big teams, even taking the title away from United on the final day of the 2008 season. I’m not sure if its my formation with Derby I played 4 at the back, 3 across the middle, 1 attacking midfield and then 2 up top with largely defensive counter attacking tactics. Even this 2nd season with Chelsea I’ve already been knocked out of the league cup and hammered 6-1 by Newcastle!!!

Not sure what I can do I’m generally playing this as a best XI

We don't have much cash either so i have no did idea what big Avram was doing!!! anyway if anybody has any help as to why my teans are such chokers then that would be great thanks!!!

I find the same problem in cup competitions although have no problem beating the top teams in my league, i think it's more down to what's said to the media before a game and team talks and perhaps also might be worth trying commenting on the opposing manager leading upto the game.
