Started my new game with Arsenal, thought I would get some input from you all.
Have all coaches on 7 stars. Training schedules set up for all positions, GK, CB, FB, CM, AM, CF and INJURIES. Youth schedules set up for GK, DEF, MID and FOR and INJURIES. Pre season all done and am currently in September, 2nd in table behind Spuds.
Pre Season went well, scoring lots of goals, but I still need a bit of work defensively. I think more than ever this FM places more emphasis on your oppo instructions. I have found putting man marking on my CB's and never closing down quick strikers helps. When the AI goes 424 as it inevitably will between 60 and 70 mins, I think you have to change your system (lower your d-line, no fwr on FB's and cross from deep), close down all four forwards.
Have developed a home formation and an away formation, will get some screenies of my training, tactics and squad and upload them tomorrow.
Had to sell Diaby as he was upset about me buying Luka Modric. Other than that I have strengthened my reserves with Torje, Piatti and Aarilto and Sadhou.
