They offered me 36m + 20% sell off clause for silva, when his value is 46m... puhahahahahaha, i declared my interest in ronaldo and he was flattered to join valencia, i offered the same deal and of course they reject. who are they ****ing kidding offering me that miserable amount for silva who i rate higher than c ronaldo.

transfer system is crap... worst then transfer system in fm2005 and fm2006. on those we could at least sell players for their base fvalue

im sick of using tricks like '50% sell on clause' & '$40m over 24 months' to get any value out of selling my players. (apart from the obvious world class players who sell like hotcakes once you transfer list them)

at the very least they on same levelin game. silva is a quality player. and still developing his potential.and they play on different midfield position,but i value silva over ronaldo anyday.

I'm sticking with 07 but even that has a crap transfer system. I posted in another thread about being unable to offload players.

Sure, if I sold my best players they'd go like hotcakes but the lesser known (yet still good) players who are surplus to my requirements I just cannot get rid of.

Atleast in 06 I could sell the likes of Rossi, I can't even give him away now. Even selling for £1m over 24 months, no-one is interested but sure, everyone will take him on loan.

It's only now that I'm wanting to start selling players, 3 seasons in after some mad spending that I'm finding out that a player I paid £10m for will leave on a free because no-one will buy him and he won't sign a new contract because he's transfer listed... And I don't want him. Bah!

Selling reserve players to lower teams, yeah that works but established players, just can't shift them!

And that's with the 702 patch
