I'm the manager og Brøndby in the best Danish league. I've won 5 consecutive championships, been in the semifinal of the UEFA cup, and 2 times in the last 16 of the Champions League. Brøndby are 33rd on the club ranking list, yet I cannot seem to get any good (as in well known) players to come to the club. I've got money to spend 23 million Euro and can give up to 21.000 Euro/week on wages.
I've been allowed to talk to great players, Van der Vaart, Babtista, Snejder, Eto'o, Motta and so on, but all have the same comment: "the dont seem to think that moving to a Danish club is a good career move" (or something like that)
Do any of you have any experience in getting players of that calibre to Danish clubs?
