I'm just curious about what people make of him as there doesn't seem to be much recommendation or praise. I've started a few games (mostly with Arsenal) and ended up buying him every time, I consider him an absolute bargain. He has a 16m release clause which is tempting enough but you can usually get him for around 13m, only 3.5 mil above his actual value. I bought him for his goal scoring ability and he doesn't disappoint, he is an incredible goal machine and seems to pop up and score in nearly every game, either with simple tap ins or stunning long shots. His consistency is also phenomenal, there is no real dip to his form at any point, including his goal return. That all tied with his natural fitness, top attitude, preffered moves and versatility make him one of the best buys in the game imo.

So, what do you make of him?

(I'm not saying he is the best buy in the game, just one of them. I usually buy him along side Matias Fernandez, who I think is the better player, but I tend to consider them as a pair, my quality South American goal scoring imports)

I hate him. After the first season, he's out of contract and I tried to sign him for Arsenal as well. He asked for a salary of 100K+ and an insane 50K or something appearance fee! Idiot!

Really? I've got him on 45k a week with a 3k apeparance fee, and I should have probably got him for less as Arsenal seem to offer a ridiculously high wage estimate.

Yeah and it didnt happen only that one time. Its happened twice to me. I even posted it in the bugs forum as I thought it was one. But I dont know. It was just plain stupid. Dont care to sign him ever since. He wouldnt fit into my team anyway because I dont like playing with an AMC. Wont drop Fabregas for anyone in the world - not even Kaka! And also, when I do play an AMC if Fab is injured or needs a rest, I tend to give youth a chance.

He plays on the right as well, attacking or regularly and can also play up front. I actually think he is the perfect buy for Arsenal as we need a goal scoring midfielder and he can also cover a number of positions. Each to their own though.

he is ok but not the best buy a long way. i tried to get him to sign a new contract but he wanted 85k a week with a huge apperance fee. I told him to shove it up his a**e

I just started a game with Athletico Madrid and decided to sell him for 12m. He looked good and was my captain apparently but I have loads of AMCs there and deicided that the money would be better spent on the likes of lulinha and banega.

Could end up being a mistake but in a few years it will be well worth it.
