Problems at the back - Need some help before its too late!!
I'm managing Luton Towm in the 3rd season of the game. I went on holiday for the first as I was planning on starting in the Blue Square North or South with a team that you can't manage at the start.
But when picking a team to manage I quickly scanned the leagues to see all the promotion / relegations etc. Saw that Luton had been relegated to League 2 and suddenly had a moment of pride, for want of a better word, to take them back to their early 90's time in the top league.
Anyway, I won promotion in the to League 1 in the first (2nd) season and have just started in League 1. I've played 2 league games and the 1st round of the CC. In those 3 games I've leaked 14 goals!! 7 in the 2 leagues games and 7 in the CC!!
The transfer window is still open and I have around 800k to spend to build a better back 4 otherwise I'm going straight back down. My current back 4 are :
WBL : Sylviniho
WBR : Richard Duffy (loan)
DC : Durberry / Coyne
DC : Sammy Traore / Christinval
I thought that these 4 would be strong enough for League 1, but clearly not!!
Any suggestions for defenders in the 3rd season for a League 1 team??
