Promoting is great. I won promotion with Southampton after beating Leicester in the final play-off game. They had absolutely no chance. But with the same tactic in the PL I got slaughtered by the AI in my first match. After that it was back to the drawing board. Causing a lot of uncertainty with my players.

Another thing I have noticed is that I start of a match and see that my instructions should be different. I.E. the AI is dominating the game and I want to make a change, it is at that time that the AI scores.
Believe me I love this game and have played it for ages, but if this game is so realistic then how come I have to tell a player not to run with the ball when the pitch is wet?
And also, I play football myself and I have never had a coach giving us specific instructions on closing down or mentality. I.E. you close down 20 and you close down 15?!?!?! It doesn’t make sense!
Not to say that this is an error in the game, but maybe for these two sliders they should have thought of a system like deployed i.e. ‘Run with ball’
Mentality: Defending – Mixed – Attacking
Closing down: None – Own half – All over

Toi I feel the same way, now when I imagine a half time talk I think of the coach standing in front of a bunch of sliders muttering words with the assistant

How much determination do your players have? If it is low then once they go one down the heads will drop.
High determination is key to coming back from behind.
