There never seems to be a positive reaction from the players when I lose my rag with them, so I end up sympathising and taking my anger out on my keyboard. I'm missing ten keys atm.
I'm the same. I find that getting angry with my players usually leads to a big drop in moral and can lead to a losing streak.
So wherever possibly I show them encouragement. The only time I give them a kick up the arse is if we're 2 or more down at half time. I found this can help improve second half performances at times.
I never get angry at full time and always sympathise or say pleased despite the result.
I rarely get angry but when used sparingly ( losing at home to a poorer team etc) I have found it to be quite effective. On occassions I have missed the after-game team talk and this is also interpreted as being very angry which also works.
Hmm, ok..this all depends...I did something about anger management last season and a lot still applies...in very simple terms there are several things you should need to look at.
There isn't some hard and fast rule, cos, ultimately you need to look at personalities too...but the general stuff
I do use the hairdryer quite a lot, but the way I do teamtalks is very specific. Senior players who don't play up to par..get the treatment, you will know if their morale is superb and they have a 6. If they have resolute I look for 2 hairdryers.
In matches you are expected to win, its very important you do that. Morale superb you get a 6 you get the hairdryer, regardless of whether we are leading or losing. You gotta use common sense too..if a player is hopelessly out of position you should erm think bout it
I get some amazing results atm as milan when using the hairdryer. One example is turning around a 2-0 half time deficit against Inter, to win 3-2, so it can work wonders.
it depends what mood im in, if im in a bad mood anyway ill shout and bawl. should be an option to do this during the game. Should be able to click on a player on the 2d pitch and then on an option to shout at them or say something else to them
