Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Giving a player a run in the team

I have some good youngsters and i want to try them in some first team games to give them a run in the team. How many games do you give them to prove themselves? Is there a system that most people use? I'd be interested to see what people think about this.

Play them in a cup game agains easy opposition or in a game you dont need to win - if they play well then slowly ease them into first team football

play them everytime last 15 minutes..Or when u have a injured player try put one of them (Not more than one) in the first half. I was surprised to see that a 16 year old youngster can play better than Jeremy Menez. But to be sure, never put more than one in the team. And most important never get angry , if he plays bad encourage him and use him as a sub, dont let him go
