Hey Guys,

How can I shrink an image to like 1/20th of the size, but still keep clarity? Thanks

Your only hope lies in doing it in several small steps, but never so that the next size is an easy portion of the former one (example: not from 2400 to 2000 as that means 6 to 5, but from 2400 to 2011 as PS will have to calculate everything.

This said: don't expect too much as finally you will delete 80% of the information and try to concentrate everything in one pixel out of five.

If you need to sharpen, do it only at the very end, and read some other methods to sharpen in my chautauqua on the tuts forum. Unsharp Mask is best as PS default tool to sharpen, but there are better methods.

Best is to try and get hold of a smaller image.

you could try to reduse the dpi value to 1/20 of the original value.

Also, if you are using Photoshop CS you could try reducing the image in one step but choose Bicubic Sharper as the Resample Image algorithm. I've had very good success with that as a one step technique. I'd suggest using all three techniques, if possible, and see which one looks better to your eye.
