These are depending on what leagues your playing in professional and many times world class football players. Your telling me that they need a tactic to tell them that letting a player run by them unopposed to the goal for a scoring chance is a problem? I hardly think so. Now if your telling me that the game isn't going to take common sense into account and I need to work around that then I can see your point as valid, but we all know that is not the case. Si develop this game to be as realistic as possible and I'm afraid that common sense fits into that category too. I agree that there are things that can be done in the tactics to cover the shortcomings of the engine but be honest...that's just a bandage to the problem. While I'm still enjoying the game in it's current form I will definitely be happy when they correct this issue.

agree. the 2nd beta patch destroyed what the 1st one fixed for closing down. and i everytime e make my tactici get the feeling that slider only work if they are on min/middle/max values, i dont see any difference having 11,12,13,14 on any sliders for example

I will not get into a long argument with you about closing down. If I can get my Gloucester City players to close down and deny teams passing chances, then there must be something I am doing right and you are doing wrong. If you're not able to do it, and expect the game to automatically do it for you then perhaps you should be looking at trying out things or at least try and understand how closing down is supposed to work.

Like I've said time and time again, closing down works, there are no shortcomings with it that need to be addressed in the tactical instructions.

you can tell a player not to close down and you can tell a player to close down, whether he chooses to do it depends on his attributes and his instructions, I suggest you go looking at that.

There is no return of any closing down bug, and if you lot choose to complain about it, take it to the bugs forum. This is not a venue for complaining about the bug, cos you ain't gonna get me to agree to your pov
