This tactic/s were working wonders in the initial 8.00 version, seriously high amounts of possesion, shots, pass completion etc, was still working after the 1st Beta Patch and still o.k. with 2nd Beta Patch except for goals drying up at times.
This is a relatively slow tempo tactic that still uses counter attack(it just works better?), only 1 player has ANY creative freedom at all and long shots have been set to rarely throughout.
The home tactic is a 4-3-1-2 and should always be implemented at home, unless your up against an absolute top Club, in which case start with the away tactic and change as required.
The away tactic is a 4-1-3-2 and the only difference here is the formation set-up, with the central MC from the home tactic dropping into DMC and the AMC from the home tactic dropping to MC with a forward arrow to AMC.
I would be happy if it could be tested by people using the three different versions so far as stated in the title, as i'd like to see what difference the two Beta Patches has made to how it works?(obviously i have made my own conclusions based on what "I" have seen).
There is no denying that anyone trying this with the latest Beta Patch will probably find themselves in situations where its hard to score, this is because of the(known Bug) of midfielders taking pot shots despite their individual instructions, so it will really help your goal tally if you have midfielders in the team with a high long shot stat.
Hopefully this wont be a problem for long, as, as far as i know, a fix has been promised in the Official Patch?.
Using this tactic with the game straight out of the box, i found it very easy to win the
Prem with the likes of Arsenal, Man Utd and Liverpool and have had top 5 success with West Ham(5th), Everton(2nd) and Newcastle (4th).
The two tactics are available at FMDownloads.
