Default FM08 - Official West Bromwich Albion - Boing Boing Boinging Back To The Promised Land

West Bromwich Albion Football Club (also known as West Brom, The Baggies, Albion, The Albion, The Throstles or W.B.A.)
Based in the west midlands, a region dominated by top football clubs.
West Brom play there football in the Coca Cola Championship and in the past 10 years very regulary chop and change between the Championship and the Premeirship (known as the yoyo club)
They have never really had that much success in the league but when it come to the FA Cup they have won it five times.
Although many people may not know West Brom also reached the Ufea Cup quater finals only to be defeated by Red Star.
In more recent ears they have alternated between the two top divisions in england and havent had any success in cup competitions.
Last season Tony Mowbary came in and guided the team into the playoff finals where they were narrowly beaten at Wembley by a single goal.

Team
Goal
Dean Kiely
Luke Steele

Defence
Carl Hoefkins
Paul Robinson
Leon Barnett
Neil Clement
Martin Albrechsten
Jared Hodgkiss
Shelton Martis
Miguel Tininho
Bostjan Cesar
Pele

Midfeild
Robert Koren
Johnathan Greening
Richard Chaplow
Zoltan Gera
Felipe Texieria
Ronie Wallwork
James Morrison
Chris Brunt

Strikers
Kevin Phillips
Ishmael Miller
Roman Bednar

This team is more than capable of getting out of this division and i see mainly two areas where the majority of your transfer budjet should be spent and those are in Goal and Defence

I finished 7th in the Prem 3rd season with Albion, before jumping ship to replace Sir Alex at United. Kind of wished i'd stayed at the board had just increased the size of the stadium and i was just about to embark on a UEFA cup campaign.

Well i am going to go the Tony Mowbary way, and go attack attack and oh some more attacking
I feel i have the attacking force to score a fair few goals (mika, phillips, miller, torje)
I feel my defensive should be able to cope in this divsion and that i have a good keeper
So just about to embark on my first league game awy to cardiff
Lets see how it goes

As a devoted Baggies fan I find it hard to change the team so I have only signed a back-up keeper and under 17s for the youth. I usually play 4-4-2 with Ish and SKP up front. I wanted to keep tony mowbray but sadly he wouldn't resign for me.
