Just finished my first season...

At the start i brought in Mika Aaritalo, Balzas Dzsudzsak, Ever Bangera.

And throughtout the season at home i played a very attacking 4 1 3 2 formation. and away i played a 4 1 2 2 1 counter attack formation.

Aaritalo and Dzsudzsak played almost every single game for me, and are loved by the fans. Bangera played most away games for me at DM. and my fans thought he was a very good signing. In january i brought in Breno, he slotted into my 1st team quickly and has been hard to replace.

League Cup: Semi Finals, lost 3-2 agregate Vs Chelsea.

Fa Cup: Played a few youngsters and got dumped out 20 to sunderland in the 4th round board wernt happy.

Uefa Cup: Quarter finals, 1st leg FC Bayern 1 - 1 Everton, 2nd leg i lost 3-1 at home
but i never expected to win that game.

League: After spending the first half the season going between 7th and 4th, i put together a few good runs...
And after beating totenham 3-2 away on the second to last game of the season, and Man Utd lost 2-1 to man city... I found myself in first place going into the last game of the season.

I was playing man city, and man utd were playing liverpool. I was only top on goal difference atm, after going 10 down in the opening 10 mins, i pulled it back to 2-1 before half time, and was getting excited, but then man city equilised in the 94th min...

Liverpool could have done me a favour, but they lost 2-0 to man utd, so i finished 2nd.

Ive got to be happy with that, 2nd in first season, although at the end of it i won nothing. But on the good side Liverpool finished 8th and didnt win anything either

Overall, good first season

Ok, here goes.

Transfers in:
Andrey Arshavin - 5 Mil
Rodrigo Palacio - 7.5 Mil
Sergey Ignashovic - free
Steve Sidwell (loan)

Transfers out:
Ian Turner - 1Mil
Yakubu - 8 Mil

Ten games in and all good so far. Sitting in 4th in the league, but only sitting two points off top. Palacio's come in and works a treat with AJ up front. been a bit disappointed with Arshavin so far, but i'll give him time. Gutted Faddy's not that good, still might keep him cos he's a total legend. Got spurs away next which could be tricky, but have taken 4 points from old trafford/stamford bridge.
Has anyone else found that nobody seems to like Yobo. i was pretty surprised

had 26mil to spend after finishing 2nd, brought in Sergio Aguero for 10m up front 18mil over 12 months and board allowed it. Scored 2 in his first game against arsenal

Tho ive done what i usually do and have too many attacking players, and as i often only play 1 up front away, i can easily push aguero back into AMC where hes still doing well.

Only problem is i got Arteta, cahill, Dzsudzsak, Aaritalo to rotate, as well as Alex and Piatti comming through as youngsters getting better and better.

Think im willling to let Cahill or Arteta go if i get a good enough offer, which makes me sad lol

i know. Think i'll let Cahill go at the end of the season. Should be able to get decent money and he's been in and out the team with injuries all season. Arteta can definitely stay though, he's been a beast.
Think i may need to part with Faddy, seems to be misbehaving and doesnt think i appreciate him. Mate you should've seen me appreciate you in Paris last month.
Brought in Henrik Larsson, just really to give him a nice payoff before his retirement and he's actually done pretty well. 6 goals in five starts.
how does James Vaughan get on. Chelsea are after him in my game, but he's back from injury and looking pretty tasty. Think i'll just hang onto him unless they offer me silly money

vaughn played for me a bit last season and got 8 in 6 games. not bad, shame i really dont have space for him atm would like to bring him through, ive sent him on loan to newcastle where hes doing well.

i sold Mika Aaritalo for 17million, after 1 season... thats a great investment when he was bought for 400k and then brought in Valon Behrami which has solidified my back 4 up. which is now...

Behrami - breno - yobo - baines

Cahill

Arteta - Dzsudzsak - Alex

Aguero - AJ (or yakubu whoever is in form)

Not a bad squad, been some big money dealings which ive been happy about.

Aguero usually slots back into attacking mid for away games as i play 1 up front. Im so glad my bored allowed me to go a little over my budget to get him

I'm currently 4th in April and in the Semis of UEFA, but Johnson is doing my head in, started the season brilliantly then had a 16hour gap between strikes scored a couple and is going for hours again without goals. he has 15 from 39 av 6.82. not sure whether to get shot of him in the summer or not

ive recently started an everton game and so far its going great.

think im 4th in the table after about 12 games about 5 points off top. some notable wins inculding 6-2 home to boro and 3-0 AWAY at Chelsea.

Andy Johnson has been on song playing as a lone striker scoring 10 in 9 league starts but now hes injured for 2 months.

pre season signings were:

Banega - 4mil
Aaritalo - 500k
Ignashevich - Free

only player to leave was silva to stoke for 1.6. need to get rid of van de meyde but no one wants him.

Starting line up:
Howard

Ignahevich Yobo Lescott Baines

Neville

Arteta Gravesen Banega Aaritalo

AJ

Think i will switch Cahill to Gravasen when he returns from injury.
