im currently managing fc.barcelona heading into my 3rd season, and so far 2 groups of 'regenerated players' have entered my C team. and none of them have a 2 star potential ability rating from my assistant manager.
my assitant manager has a 19 player ability, and 20 player potential scouting stats. so i'd trust him.
is there a trick to getting like decent regenerated players that can actually break into the 1st team? most of them are like 'xxxx doesnt have anywhere near the potential required to be better then xxxxxxx'
almost all of them are 'potential could lead him to becoming a good LIGA BBVA player' etc
that's plain unacceptable!

there is no way mate its regenerated the word explains itself really

Maybe its your youth facilities, youth coaches or youth training programmes.

Also you won't always get world class youth players coming through. Maybe 1 in 5 seasons or something along those lines.
