I've got the metal texture creation figured out, but what I'm stuck on is making objects, or, at the least, spiffy looking images that are more than just a single textured wall with a little grungie text or such on it. How could one go about adding, say .. a 30 pixel metal border, making the original background look deeper, and maybe adding some cross-bars with bolts? I've been tooling around in PS7 for hours and can't quite figure it out. (Note: I no pro with photoshop, and if I were to choose a label, I'd consider myself a mild-novice, just a few steps up from amateur. heh.)
