Not great defensively sadly. Much better player when he's allowed to get forward a bit. His marking and tackling is pretty average. But definitely worth considering on a free. Get him if he doesnt ask for too much money. Else try for someone else.

Biggish name, biggish rep. Cannot hold his place in my Sheff Utd Team (08-09) after getting on a free from Barca. Better off playing Jagielka or Carsley to be honest. If you have cash (lots) get Marik Hamsin from Napoli. Quality DM for a midfield 3.

From Barca? I'm pretty sure the guy meant FM2008 where he starts at Atletico Madrid...
