can't seem to keep opposite team from scoring straight after I do ...
Hey I'm playing with Jena a german team in the second bundesliga. as they are candidates to demote the following season it's normal that I loose any once in a while but I was wondering something.
When I play a better team or a real good team in that league I try to stay on the defensive type and try to make goals from counter attacks.
Now that seems to work mostly. Sometimes I make the first goal in the match but then not even more than 5 minutes later the other team strikes back and makes it back to 1-1 or even worse.
I wonder why they don't score for that long and almost instantly when I make a goal they do to. It's pretty annoying and it happens almost every time. I wonder if this is normal or if you got any tips to keep the opposite team from scoring straight after I do.
I still play defensive after I score and sometimes I try to make my players intercept the opposite faster and tackle harder after I score so they can't get through.
I don't care if I lose games but always in this way isn't quite fun :s
any help or suggestions? thanks

Watch out for a formation change by the opposition and be prepared to counter that. Possibly take any forward runs off your fullbacks and look for the opposition wingers bombing forward. You could also look at man marking the wingers. Without seeing your formation I can't really give any more advice.
