Rep Power: 0 | how to sign players who dont want to sign???
I'm sic of having the funds and wages to sign a big name player but they are not interested in signing (I manage Middlesbrough).
Fair enough if they are a starting player and you can't offer much higher wages but it really annoys me when you offer 3-4 times their actually wage and maxed out incentives and they turn you down (epsically if they are a fringe player)
Any tips to trick them into signing?

i couldnt agree more with this, i have offered a player over 100 times his wage before and he rejected(from £15 to over £2000 a week), this is simply ridiculus.
If the player had a genuine greavence with the move i would like to see more media items ie if they dont want to move away and perhaps you could then try to persuade them. Otherwise i think anyone would consider double their wage for a similar team a good move...wouldnt you?

If they dont want to play for you forget about them. They will just cause problems later on. Better to have players that want to play for you.

There is no tip in how to attract players i think. Just make a good season and show of your potential and ambition, then people want to move to you. This is quite realistic imo.

Yeah i hate that aswell, You offer them money out of this world they still reject you?
I remember in CM 0304 if i was in League one and i was trying to get a big player the say not intrested in signing, But then i offer them like 20-30k a week and they sign right away.
But now no matter what you offer they will not come.
I think when the patch is done and you can use fmm change the rep of your club to like 9000, then when they have accpeted terms just change the rep back to what it was, Thats what i did on FM 07 when players would not come to Man City for 4x there wage?

some players prefer a certain role within the club, always try and set role to Key Member as this may change there mind..
