retired_aluckeroth Registered User Join Date: Apr 2007 Posts: 0 Rep Power: 0	Effective closing down with defenders Hi Guys. I've recently started a new game as Lecce with the 2nd beta patch. I've realised that in the lower leagues its far more difficult to play a 'stand-off' counterattacking style so I generally choose to make my MF's close down all over the pitch (just over 3/4 on the bar). However I have a dillema regarding how far my DF's should close down. The pre-set centrehalfs close down only very deep however I'm worried this may produce too great a gap between my CB's and FB's. And if I was to make my defence all close down deep in my half (eg in front of my area) it would produce large gap between my defence and midfield. I don't know what to do! Any advice would be great.
