I never have much confidence in England these days to be honest now that Maclaren's in charge.

Although Germany also have a fair few injuries so you never know.

Against Germany I think its one of them games where all recent form, injuries, tactics etc all go out of the window. If a player cannot get motivated for a game like this then there is something drastically wrong. Its arguably the biggest match England ever plays.

I can't really see England producing anything special inless one of our more "world class" players play a stormer.

I really dont have much faith in England anymore i always think we'll do good to mediocre then crash out but every world/euro cup im still sure we can win and then in tears when were out again and im travelling home from some crappy place.

All English know we are rubbish, yet come a tournament we all still get carried away

Yeh and it's not as if the German's will give us the entertainment instead since they have even more injuries. No Podolski, Klose, Schweinsteiger, Ballack, Frings, Borowski.


Would love it though if they do a 5-1. McClaren would be laughing - so would I. We can dream I guess. If England keep playing like they are I'll go back to supporting my actual home country Wales... (I'm not a patriotic man lol)

yeah watching englands just not the same anymore almost a cert we will be poor. mcclaren will no doubt just go on about how good it was that we had owen back and that its something positive to come out of the game

I think England have been poor to watch since 96 Euro's. I can honestly say that the 96 season was the best I seen England play, a real team spirit and players seemed eager to perform. Now days they just don't care, certain players have no passion and desire as they know there place is safe regardless.
