It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

I like your tactic mate, I've tried a few games with it using Liverpool as an example (not Arsenal admittedly)

One thing I have noticed is that my team seem to have a lot of pressure exerted on them, but not a lot of goals are conceded. (1-1 draw with Portsmouth away, 1-0 win to Middlesbrough at the Riverside).

I am currently second in the league, winning 8 and drawing 3.

Another observation is the quality of the two widest Central Midfielders of the 3, who seem to play very well, especially in comparison to the rest of the team. Throughout I have discovered that Gerrard and Babel work beautifully there, even though I would normally use Babel as an out and out winger, they have both been consistent 8s and 9s.

My DM is Mascherano and my CM is Alonso, with whom I utilise a lot of creative fielding and his fantastic passing (my equivalent to Cesc really!)

Anyway, thanks very much for the tactic mate.

I think I'll give this a run and see how it goes even though it won't be my first choice tactic. Just need a alternative for when i want to play 2 strikers as my main tactic is a 4-5-1.

great tactic,i have just won the treble with barcelona in my 1st season,iv then resigned and ended up at west ham for the start of the 2nd season and unbeaten in 5 games so far,I have tweaked the 2 fowards a little bit as i found them to be wasting to many chances and now both cant stop scoring for fun, henery and eto'o got almost 60 goals between them in the 1st season ans iv now got bellamy and ashton have scored 9 in 5 games,so so far so good, well done on making a great tactic

cheers Wato

Awesome tactic. I was playing one with the exact same formation but it is evident your player instructions are superior!

Thankyou.

I run two saves, on LLM and one with Liverpool.

With Liverpool I was 2nd going into March but 9 points behind Chelsea and out of both domestic cups, we where still alive in the Champions League but had lost 2-1 away to Sevilla in the first leg of our tie.

With your tactic I went on a 12 match unbeaten run and was crowned Champions on the final day of the season. This was helped by Chelsea having a few dodgy results (including not winning in thier final three games) naturally but I had to be in position to take advantage.

After a frantic 4-2 victory at Anfield we continued through to the CL final where we played Valencia. Despite suffering an injury crisis, meaning the loss of Reina, Carragher and Torres, I was up against it. However, after a 2-2 draw we won it on Penalties!

My LLM save is with Bath City. I switched to your tactic halfway through the first season. We where sitting in 9th, slightly above expectation but had been knocked out of all of the domestic cup competitions.

First result out of the bag was a 5-0 win over Fisher, second, a 6-0 win over Hayed & Yeading. We had left it a little late and obviously not every result as as impressive, but we finished 5th and am currently top by a canter as we enter April in the second season.
