Formations: Can you make any work?

As i said earlier, i created a 4-5-1 yesterday which has had a dramatic affect on my performances thus far, i'm only with King's Lynn and flying in the conference where i should really be seriously struggling.

With the WB's and the CMF with forward arrows (farrows?) with the Defensive Line pushed right up, your obbiously need the 2 CB's to have high stats in Pace, Acceleration and Stamina, and teamwork, tacking, anticipation and work rate prob. wouldnt go a miss. the WB's will need good attribs in marking stamina crossing etc etc etc, I get the to man mark there wingers if they play those 4-4-2, 4-3-3 formations etc.
I have had amazing success with this formation with Hull on the Rich Britain database, came 1st in the 1st season and won promotion now currently 13th, would be 7th if I didnt go bankrupt somehow!! with 28 games played in the Prem. leaugue

this is not a football formation.
my friend also made a formation with no center backs- 2 dmc's and a sweeper work to great effect in 07

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.
