They don't have to be great, but put a reason explaining why you like that player so much, maybe he scored an important goal to save you from relegation? Or maybe he just rubs you in the right way. Here's mine:

Micah Richards - First major signing as Man United, he has been solid for me replacing Gary Neville at RB and just like IRL, he's physically a beast and even when someone beats him he can chase them down and tackle them.

Petr Cech - He had a major row with Chelsea and refused to sign a new contract, and I've been courting him for 2 years. Avram Grant hates me and won't accept any bids whatsoever, so 2 years later his contract finally ran out, and I signed him on a free :cool: gave him a lucrative deal to beat off Barca and Valencia, he has only played 2 games so far TBH but I love him already.

Paul Hutchinson - Admitedly he is my second season regen, but his facegen looks alot like David Beckham as does his stats, except he's more defensive minded, bit like Fletcher. Has decent stats and potential, but doesn't seem like a wonderkid or a possible world class star. I'd be gutted if he turns out crap, definitely one of my favorite players so far in FM08.

Nicky Maynard - He was my first ever signing, for Peterborough United. He destroyed League 2, and won players of the year, and the fans player of the year.

Anderson Silva - Signed this Everton reserve team player for Peterborough in January 1st season. He had never played english football before, but as my DMC he stopped all attacks and scored his fair share aswell. Named in Team of the year.

Danny Haynes

He scored 52 goals in the championship and a big reason I got though in the playoffs, His first season in the prem he managed to net 26 goals.

Samir Nasri

Behind the front 2 he is dynamite and can rocket them in regularly.

altidore - won me f.a.cup in the 90th minute and also scored plenty in the league

I'd have to agree on Petr Cech. This guy is bloody amazing. In one highlight, he made 7 (!?!?!?!) consecutive saves in point-blank shots situations...

Roscoe D'sane is my favourite i signed him on a free transfer for my Braintree team and he's scored about 15 in his first 10 starts.

Also Guy Lopez is one of my favourites as he was my first signing and he's been great and is now my captain.

Right now (2011), it's got to be Gabriel Torje. Wonderkid, loyal personality, lists me as his favorite manager and my team as his favorite team. What's not to like?
