I have just accpeted Milan's £40mill bin for Vidic (was too good to turn down). I'm in the 1st season, ive got Breno coming in on 1st Jan so I will have Pique, Rio, Brown and Breno. So don't really need to improve the defence anymore I don't think? What do you think? I'm thinking about buying players for other positions, here is a screenshot of my current squad:



So any reccomended new signings? All help welcome.

Get rid of Wes Brown and get Cristopher Samba in. He's much better than Brown and can also play CB and RB like Brown. Else, get an out and out RB. Valon Behrami, Cristian Zaccardo are two highly recommended.

And you might be well advised to get another play who can play LB if needed. Cant see any other option if Evra gets injured. Unless you still have John O'Shea in your reserves?

Actually you can just buy one versatile player who can provide you cover in all 3 defensive positions. Recommended are Budisso (Inter), Guy Demel (HSV) and even Miguel Torres (R. Madrid). All 3 are very versatile and can play all 3 positions with ease. You might be well served signing one of them. Definitely dont require anyone in attack! Oh, and another GK will not hurt. VDS doesnt have too many years left in him.

Thanks for your help mate, i've made a £5.5mill (realease clause) bid for Marcelo to replace Evra, good move? Ive asked my scouts to scout Burdisso, Guy Demel and Miguel Torres.

Which keeper do you reccomend?

Tbh, I dont rate Marcelo as a LB at all. I think he's terrible there. He's terribly defensively (marking and tackling). I'd still recommend getting a proper LB. As mentioned above, Cassani might be a good option as well. He can play LB and RB. Marcelo, I suppose would do if you need a backup to your LB. And seeing as you've sold Evra, definitely recommend getting one with better defensive stats (this game is already very unfair on defenders!).

Just remembered a better player. Get Criscito from Juve. Brilliant defender imo. Great as CB, very good as LB and good as RB as well. He'll be expensive but worth it. Scout him as well. :thup:
