cause i was -22k on wages after reading what dsdookie said about asking for more wages i did got an extra 250k for wages so looked at turning it in to money and after already spending 33m on transfers i can swap the wages for 13m and still have a good bit left on the wage budget looking on doing it and investing it on yth the bank balance is 20m

Firstly congrats everyone on making it onto a second page :thup:
Secondly thats a nice results there lfc7, looks as though Menez and VD Vaart are doing well for you. As regards spending 20 million on youth id say no. Its always the best policy with Ajax and their youth squad to sign a few 'necessities' ie the young wonderkids. Id recommend only about 3 or 4 as too many will upset the chemistry of the team. Remember these youngsters have been brought up playing together and so can and do play well in a team, you don't want to disrupt that.
Thirdly has everyone installed the beta patch yet? Just wondering how everyones finding it now. I installed it last night but haven't had chance to play on it yet to see the differences, hopefully will do today.

yer ive installed it, workign a treat, Kehl 7 Suarez rnt gettn cards evry agem now!!! & there actually clsoing down, hit a run of form & my team s growing a reputation of being come-back-kings, was down 2-1 v AZ with 10men got it to 2-2 then down 3-2 hen drew 3-3, then v Sparta(i no there crap lol) was down 2-0 won 4-2, v Feyenoord was down 3-1 won 4-3, & m greatest match to date v real madrid 1st leg @ home in rnd of 16 of champs league i won 2-1 even tho i got absoloutely hammered lol.

if ny1 knows how 2 help me in my 2nd leg trying to defend a 1 goal lead away, ny1 no any tactic which stops u from being completely pulverised cause im pretty sure thats gonna happn 2 me @ the Bernabeau

Often against the top teams if you try and play defensive then they will just continue to outclass you and find ways around it. Imo i think you should play your normal style, obviously go a little more defensive, play narrower and keep the passing short so you dont lose the ball as much. Play your fittest players as you will need to match them for 90 minutes coz against teams like Real, one mistake and lack of concentration and you will lose. Also look at playing the players with pace as this could expose them at times.

Decent signings mate. Ive got Breno and Alex joining in Jan too and am excited . As regards the rest of your signings they all look good, Mihelic is a great buy. I had him and he was a real class act. As regards tactics, you seem to be doing ok atm. What system do you play? lol i playd defensively & i was dominating the first 20 v madrid & got 1-0 up then aftr that they hammered me 4-1, ended up coming 3rd again! int he league not very happy, & Huntelaar is being sold as he dusnt want a new contract & its in his last year Sevilla have offered 16mil so jsu hav to wait for him to accept contract, only person ive bought for my 3rd season is ugur Yildrim but i definaely need better defenders, Vermeaulean & heintinga r not cuttign it there getting avg ratings of around 6.8-7 & conceeded a lot of gls last season, btu also scored the most so mite use huntelaars transfer to get sum top quality defenders.
