After a very very bad season with my Brighton team in the championship, didn't expect a good season but better than this.
When there was about 10 games left I finally seemed to put together a tactic that fitted the players I have. They started playing really well, not scoring loads, but keeping tight backwards. I usually manage to stay up by one goal, usually 1-0, 2-1 up untill the 80 minute mark. I don't see that my team starts playing worse but at anytime after that minute the other team seems bound to get a freekick, penalty or corner that they convert no problem. The result is that the past games my team have played extraordinary footboll, but still don't get any wins no matter what.
Apparently I'm not supposed to get a win by one goal but every try I have made to score more goals has left my team leaking backwards with the same draws as a result. Is there any tweaks that you usually do near the end of a game that your up with one goal, more defensive or more possession type football or anything. I know this wont solve the problem with last minute penalties and such but I'm kinda desperate to find something that works those last minutes.
