its acceptable for me since i have been squad rotating ALOT to have my players fresh for the end of the season.
riquelme is mad, done 21goals in 20matches as AMC
Rooney just 8goals in 18games as striker.
Still playing with MCs instead of DMs.

I started a new game with Matias Fernandez as AMC, he is crazy scoreing wonder goals in almost every game.


But Berbatov as striker dosnt really score or have any chances.

ive tried both a DMC and mark strikers and close down wingers, they still score alot against me

Does anyone have any tips on what to do if we need a goal?

Original tactic+ DM with a arrow back. No tweaking or special instructions! Try it.

would realy like to get the striker more involved, more goals and assists. atm it seems that this tactic is to dependant of the AMC, and if he has a bad day ... well i dont wanna know.

Hi,

Couldnt get this to work for love nor money ealier, however i havbe re-visited it and with some tweaks this is working a treat. I have made the frontman (Berbatov) max creative and toyed with a free role and whilst he doesnt score any amazing goals, he does get lots of rebounds and a fair amount of counter attacks and he is now up there with my Attacking midfielding who is Rapael Vandervaart. The only thing that i do not like .... and beleive me that this pales in comparison to how happy i am with the results is that Vaart no longer gets many assist, he scores tons, but then he is also a deadball specialist. Just added Downing also ... so lets see what happens.

great original post and some fantastic tweaks. I have used the DM Barrow, but may try the marking fullbacks at some point if playing against a wide team with them.

sorry, it sounds as though i thought of the creative tweak on the striker. i didnt... thanks to Maverick on that one.

Another thing to.... i seem to draw alot of fouls against my team. in the last 4 games there have been 4 sending off's. 2 in one and then 1 each in another 2. anyone else noticing this?

Well I'm playing with KV Kortrijk (now in 1st division in Belgium). The past two seasons I ended 15th and 16th (so just above relegation). This season I started with two losses and then I just found this tactic.

I just played my third game of the season, and for now my team showed good improvement. I just beat Germinal Beerschot (5th in the standings) with 3-0. I'll keep you updated how my team goes on after this match.
