ive been playing with this on 08, but it only works in the CL!
My results in CL -
3-0 v Zelina H (Qual)
2-0 v Zelina A (Qual)
2-0 v Toulouse H (Group)
4-0 v Stuttgart A (Group)
1-0 v Sevilla H (Group)
1-0 v Sevilla A (Group)
3-1 v Toulouse A (Group)
Just 1 conceded, and qualified after 4th game!

Good news! This tactic is solid as ever on FM08. I'm having a great run with it!

Here is my new and (hopefully) improved 4-3-3 tactic for FM08 (after beta patch)
I will post more details but basically it follows the same principles as my FM07 tactic.
I have been testing with Leeds and will post a round-up but I must say results are looking good.
You need a good target man, heading, jumping, strength for the lone striker role. I bought Andy Booth who is doing the business for me, I would like to get a better one but the right player is not available yet!
Don't expect much possession again, as this is counter attacking stuff!
Attacking players close down the opposition, win the ball and play towards target men, he drops deep, holds the ball up and plays nice little passes to the wingers/strikers.
Try and let me know how you get on! Download Link |

Added this to my Holiday game last night at the last minute. Brighton were in 2nd after 6 months - the 07 version was probably one of my favourite tactics, and this version certainly has promise as well

Gona give this a go after my own tactic started failing in 2nd season. I seem to have the right players for it with depth, only missing a second target man (I shouldn't have just sold Bianchi...)

Hey the tactic looks good but I'd just like to ask a couple of questions:
Is the more 'creative' midfielder on the left or the right?
I have Kevin Doyle: Jumping, Strength- 16 and Heading-15. Do you think he is good enough to play as the loan striker?
