Is Tevez happy? I was lucky that he didn't through his rattle out.

4wins out of 6, not bad. Give them 10-11 games to get used to it and get Iversen!

Started my very LAST new game with 07.

Got Iversen with E Johnson as back up(Iversen AND Johnson bound to get injured).

Got N De Jong for DMC, Arteta for the attacking MC role and Lozano for back up DL.

I'll keep you informed!.

UNBELIEVABLE?.

No, not really.

I called it as it is the norm with this game, both injured during training on THE SAME DAY!.

Someone remind me why i bother?.

With a bit of luck Iversen will be fit for our first Prem game(away to bloody Chelsea again) and Johnson wont be far behind.

I did lose Reo Coker for 2 months though and my 3rd choice keeper Walker.

Off out for a bit, so will start season on return!.

2nd Season

Final Table

I am pretty pleased with how things went, I was unlucky in that Tevez had an injury which ruled him out for a few months towads the end of the season. Villa were just amazing, they just kept winning!

Again, no tweaking involved (home or away), I just played every match time I changed anything was to bring on subs.

Oh, and I won the CL

CL Final

Not bad after two seasons in charge I think.

I am finding that Lima is playing really well in the AMC role, I may have to make him a first team player and relegate Tevez to the bench!

Transfers In for start of third season.

Just the one so far, I also offered Mascerano a new contract and refused a £17m bid from Liverpool.

Transfers In 3rd Season

I am really hoping to challenge for the title this year, and try and win everything. I feel I have a strong squad now and providing I don't get lots of injuries I might have a chance. Will be interesting to see if the tatic works for a third season.

Nice going, are you sticking this in the West Ham challenge as well? I'm very pleased with my second season so far with my tactic and should definitely finish in the top 3. It's a shame I had such a poor first season though and didn't make the champions league

I'm hoping to put to rest the argument that it's not possible to have a good second season, or continued success with any team.

Yes, I'm going to concentrate on the WH Challenge thread, I got caught posting the same things in two threads so will try and avoid that :o.

My whole aim now is to try and stick to the same tactic, so far it seems to be working but I have only played two seasons.

How are you planning to fit Torres in? Surely not targetman?
