Just as a slight addition to this thread I have now come up with a tctic that is good for shutting out games and a tctic built on chasing games, based on the same principles and template.

shut out

and

In addition to that in my current season with liverpool my record so far is

Played: 21
Won: 16
Drawn 5

For: 46
Against 5!!!!

and I have played Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd all away from home

Sorry but this tactic is awful. I did not adjust it at all and the results were seriously bad. The fact you call it "goals galore" is funny, you will see why.....

First 6 games as Liverpool..

West Ham 1 - 0 Liverpool
Dinamo 1 - 3 Liverpool
Liverpool 0 - 0 Fulham
Liverpool 0 - 1 Dinamo
Villa 2 - 0 Liverpool
Liverpool 0 - 2 Man City (after 20 mins!!! I changed formation and won 3-2!!!)

I only scored v Dinamo. Shocking.

I have tried loads of tactics and this is the best i have found so far.I am Shrewsbury and having been in the top 2 for the most of the season i finally finished 5th and lost to eventual winners Wycombe 4-3 in the play offs.

I am almost up to Christmas in the 2nd year and check out these stats

I follow scout reports but always close down wingers and close down and mark forwards tightly.
The only other tweak i use is that when you download the tactic, its set on counter attack and the attacking and creativity bars are in the middle so this season when i bought some better players i always start with the attacking bar half way between middle and all out attack and the creativity bar just to the right of middle by a couple of notches.

if you read this thread and the other thread i have linked in my initial post you will see the type of players you need for each position, if it isnt working its down to you i am afraid
