I'm occasionally seeing at the moment where my strikers get passed the ball while in the oppositions penalty box, but instead of going for the strike, they decide to do a little jig (rotate around) and lose the ball. Most times the goal mouth is wide open but they fail to take advantage of it. How can I stop this from happening? They're happy to do a 1st touch flick on outside the penalty area but can't capitalise on easy chances.
There are my forwards settings:
FCR (barrow to AM)
Mentality: 15
CF: 15
Passing: 12
CD: 18
FWR: Mixed
RWB: Often
LS: Rare
TTB: Often
Cross: Mixed
HUB: Yes
FCL
Mentality: 14
CF: 16
Passing: 12
CD: 18
FWR: Mixed
RWB: Often
LS: Rare
TTB: Often
Cross: Mixed
Any suggestions? I've tried turning off HUB for my right striker but it makes no difference, besides why would a player wait for support when he's already next to the finish line?
try setting creative freedom to 10 (exact middle) or 9. Ive tried 15 and it seems my strikers cant score. ive also tried 5 but they tend to shoot on the keeper's body all the time. Also very important is the training. Dont underestimate tha attacking training for strikers. Hope i helped ya
