Try setting your striker as targetman with pass to feet, on even run onto ball... That's what I've done at Barca, and Henry/Eto'o are getting loads to work with. Also lowered the lone strikers mentality a bit to make him come deeper to recieve the ball even more...

It IS good for Barca, except my wingers aren't actually scoring that much. The AMC however, is getting loads of goals! No matter who I play there, he's banging them in. I've mostly played Deco and Gudjonson in the AMC, and they're both perfect for it! It's the only reason I'm not selling Gudjonson...

Tried with Messi and Ronnie also, but not with the same succes as the other two... Would like to optimize the winger settings, so Ronnie/Dos santos and Messi/Valdivia get better stats!

It could be my settings for the striker. He's set as targetman with run onto ball. Combined with direct, fast passing my wingers pass the ball to him at first chance. This has made my striker much more involved in the game, but at the cost of the wingers involvement. The tactic still work wonders for me! Just in another way than at first...

It's a great tactic, and fun to watch because of some smoooooth passing in midfield :cool:

I'm enjoying this tactic quite a bit with Rosenborg (Norway). It's a lot better defensively than other tactics I've used, and I although I don't win with large margins often, I usually win. As others have reported, the striker doesn't score very much, but the attacking midfielders, do. One of my annoying problems atm. is that one of my amc's get a crazy amount of shots, but his finishing is crap, so he scores very little. I'd hate to have to replace him

I'm going to toy with getting the striker to score more, but hey, as long as I'm winning, I'm a happy camper. Most likely, this tactic is even better for "good" teams, which benefit from higher stats, but as I get some of the younger talents trained and ages a bit, it should get better.
